Poppy is 3 years old and had been in three homes before we found each other. She was returned to the breeder, then passed on to another family who could not keep her. They loved her but did not have the time or financial means to give her the care she needed. She has been with me for almost a year and has settled in quite well. She had some health issues that were quickly resolved (funky ears, growth on gum line, and needed to be spayed). Now, Poppy is a heathy, thriving Newfie. She’s a floofy goof who loves her little big sister, Rosie the black lab, her duck toy, string cheese, car rides and zoomies out on the range. She’s still a little nervous with new experiences, but a brave girl. We love Poppy and she will be with us forever.
