Spenser was abandoned by his first family 3 years ago. NNR rescued him and, after one false start, found Regina, a foster Mom who gave him a home until she selflessly gave him up to us so we could give him his forever home. Over the last three years, Spenser has learned to curb his urge to chase the small critters in the neighborhood, to walk like a champ, and to mind his manners around other dogs. He brightens our home and makes our lives fuller and, well, interesting. Spenser has never met a person (especially LITTLE persons) he didn't like or whom he couldn't charm -- so long as they stay out of the drool zone. The lucky break that NNR gave him, was even luckier for us.
