Rules

To enter, submit a photograph of your dog with a $25 donation to National Newfoundland Rescue. This will give you 25 votes to begin your campaign. Please note, your dog does not have to be a Purebred Newfoundland Dog or a National Newfoundland Rescue Dog to enter. Newfoundland mixes, as we have many of these in our rescue, are highly encouraged to enter as well. Foster dogs are also welcome. Perhaps you are currently fostering or still hold a special place in your heart for one that has been adopted. It is totally acceptable to enter them as well.

Most will enter with a photo of one dog, but you can also enter up to 4 dogs of the same family per photo entry. You are more than welcome, and it is strongly suggested, to enter each of your dogs individually so each one gets individual attention.

All donations from entries are non-refundable as we have fees involved with each one.

Photos must be high resolution (3650 pixels x 2740 pixels is recommended for printing purposes).

If your pet is one of the 12 winners, but the quality of your photo is not high enough, we will ask you to submit a new photo.

Once entered, photos become the property of the National Newfoundland Rescue and may be used for print and marketing purposes. All entry photos must be uploaded through the competition software. We do not accept printed photos. The entry photograph must be taken by you. We do not accept any copyrighted or professional photos.

The Submission period begins 12:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, September 22, 2024 and ends 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, as determined by National Newfoundland Rescue, in their sole discretion, will be removed from the contest.

Each dog (up to four dogs in each photo) may be entered only once. Posting more than one photo of your dog does not increase the chances of winning.

The 12 Prize winners of the Calendar Contest will be determined by the number of votes they receive. Votes are tallied by the contest software.
