Bailey is 50-50 Great Pyrenees-Anatolian Shepherd. Her Pyr mom was rescued in Texas and she was born in foster care. She was trucked to Portland at 8-1/2 weeks old, and weighed just 9 lbs when I adopted her. Three years later, she weighs 115 lbs, and is often mistaken for a VERY large Golden Retriever. She vigorously protects her property and her "pack", barking at strangers and the occasional coyote. She loves the old concrete fountain base in her back yard and is convinced that it was always meant to be an outdoor Pyr bed.
