It was a cold and rainy December day and Renate and Joe Begley made the three hour trip to New Beginnings Kennel. They were looking for a male Great Pyrenees to complete their family. They trudged through the frozen parking lot to the hospitality of Steve Kalko. They found the kennel warm and inviting. Once settled in, Bobbie gingerly came out of her kennel. She knew Joe had driven through the storm just for her. She introduced the Begley's to her partner Billy and the rest is history.
