Tonya's amazing rags to riches story started with her as an abandoned young single mom raising a litter of puppies at a shelter. After the puppies were adopted, Tonya waited several years before she found her way (via Petfinder) from Texas to Washington State. She now works as a livestock guardian with her Pyr boyfriend Scooby Doo on the Funny Farm. Last month she entered her first dog show and won not only Best Large Breed, but also Best in Show. She's seeking an agent and expects her her life story will be made into a movie sometime soon.
