Lacey's journey to the hills of Downeast Maine took awhile. When found as a stray puppy, she was 15 pounds underweight, parasite ridden, and suffering from a hip injury. Good fortune placed her in the hands of NGPR, where her forever LA foster family spent several months nursing her back to health. Volunteer drivers brought her to us in a blinding snow storm . After two hip surgeries Lacey is pain-free and very active. Lacey rules the ridges. And Lacey rules our hearts. We love her and are very grateful to all at NGPR.
