Abigail and Mia were foster home sisters in Tulsa Oklahoma, whom I adopted from GPRescue of Oklahoma, thanks to the awesome Deanne McNab, GPRO President. Abigail is part Golden Retriever/part Great Pyrenees; Mia is pure Great Pyr.
Abigail was flown to Boulder, Colorado by Pilots n' Paws; Mia was too fragile, and I later drove to meet Deanne in Kansas to pick up Mia.
Since 2013, they are both living together and deliriously happy in Niwot, Colorado. I have rescued dogs all my life, but these were my first Great Pyrs, the most special and wonderful dogs of all.
