Monte was born in 2014 and had a rough first couple years. We were incredibly lucky that rescue chose us to be his family. Despite the abuse he suffered, his noble spirit and loving nature endured and he offered humans another chance. His adoption profile called him a "sugar statue" and that has proven to be true. Monte is the gentlest of giants who loves snuggles, peanut butter, and now that he's slowing down, spending quiet moments in Vermont listening to the loons while the breeze ripples his beautiful coat. He is the best of the best.
