Daisy was rescued out of Idaho with her eight puppies (border collie daddy); two wonderful hikers Kitty and Rob Marcroft heard the puppies crying and rescued mama dog and all eight pups. They were just days old and everyone was on the verge of starving; thanks to the Marcrofts, all were nursed back to health and Kitty got Daisy (she named her) and the pups into Great Pyrenees Rescue. All the puppies were adopted and I got Daisy. One pup, Boomer, now weighs in at ninety pounds. I will have had Daisy for two years at Thanksgiving.
