Tell us a little about your dog and their favorite summertime activity.
Hashbrown is a 4-month-old mini dachshund weighing a mighty 7.9 pounds (plus a few treat pounds). 🌭🐾 While this may be his first festival, the North Carolina Fourth of July Festival has been a lifelong tradition for his family, who have attended the Southport parade and celebrations for generations. Raised with strong community spirit and hometown pride, Hashbrown has quickly become a tiny local celebrity around Southport, winning over everyone he meets. Between being a literal “hot dog” by breed and “Hashbrown” by name, he’s the perfect festive candidate to represent Southport as Dog Grand Marshal with smiles, tail wags, and patriotic charm.
