Who better to represent Southport and America’s 250th birthday than America’’s own dog breed; the Boston terrier? Not only a Boston, Penny is also part French Bulldog - representing America’s closest ally in the fight for Independence! Like many of Southport’s residents, Penny is welcoming of all and has never met a stranger. Her favorite summertime activities include long walks on the beach, galavanting around downtown, and making new friends.
