Tell us why your pet is the best ambassador for the North Country Animal League's Rescue Brew Beer (from your pet’s perspective)Wilbur is Willy to us!
You can’t describe Willy without his littermate brother, whom we adopted at the same time, Orville (Spot). Why Spot, he has this distinguished black spot on the back of this head. We adopted them seven years ago. Momma was pregnant and had five kittens at our Veterinarian. For two years, the wonderful staff raised these boys. This experience resulted in two cats like no other cats we’ve had live with us. They demand affection and belly rubs. Willy is always on the left and Spot is on the right for feedings and treats. The boys have us well trained; my husband spoils them without shame.
They are a bit nervous and bonded as brothers. They have been on Prozac all their life. Twice, they were returned after adoption trials. Not because they weren’t wonderful cats. Once, the ‘missing’ cat returned and they didn’t get along and another with an older cat and they were a bit rough for the family. They needed to stay together, they needed a home, they needed us and we needed them.
Big Cats, Willy 14.6 lbs. and Spot 13.6 lbs. American Shorthair tan markings on white. The two are nearly indistinguishable due to their similar coloring. They may look alike, but they have completely different cat personalities: Willy the quiet giant and Spot the bully. They are mostly inseparable, but they also spat like brothers do.
They are a joy and they have brought us so much pleasure. We cherish every day they are part of our lives. We LOVE our Boys!
We thank you for this important charity and Rock Art Brewery with the entire Nadeau family. We are submitting a separate entry with Spot!
Warmly, Nancy & Al
