Tell us why your pet is the best ambassador for the North Country Animal League's Rescue Brew Beer (from your pet’s perspective)
Before my super human came into my life, I had never experienced freedom, joy, and unconditional love. I was kept in a kennel by a breeder. I had several litters, but my babies were always taken from me. After I no longer produced babies, I was relinquished to a rescue center. The owner of the rescue center loaded me in a crate along with two beagle puppies in a separate crate. We were driven from New York to Vermont, where a kind woman came to see and meet us. I thought for sure I would not be noticed or chosen over the two beagle puppies, but, incredibly, this human chose me over them. She walked me and held me. I was scared, but, I felt safe with her. She adopted me. Shortly after, the rescue center I came from was closed and all my furry friends were confiscated. I am the epitome of a rescue, but, truly, my human and I rescued each other.
