Hello, my name is Red. Fun fact - I was named after Robert Redford because I found my mom the same week he passed away, she can be a little sentimental sometimes.
Speaking of Mom, she sometimes needs a little encouragement—she can be a few minutes late with dinner or occasionally forget my after–pee-pee treat. But she means well and is absolutely worth the effort!
While I’m not a true Vermonter (I hail from Alabama), I made my way here when I was just a few weeks old… and that has to count for something, right? I’ve fully embraced the Vermont lifestyle. I love the snow, and this winter was especially beautiful! I enjoyed everything Northern Vermont has to offer—hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing with Mom and her friends. We’re having an amazing time together. (And between us… she says I’m the best hiking buddy she’s ever had—even better than Dad!)
I was really scared when I got here, but now I am confident and calm and love to play with my sister Hedy, my cousins Mort and Betty and my friends Jayke and Rory. I also really love playing with children!

I know how it feels to be scared or nervous, I have been there!
