Hi, I’m Henry. I humbly nominate myself as NCAL’s Rescue Brew Beer Ambassador - here’s why you should vote for me…

First, don’t let my regal look fool you. I may now live on a king size bed (as is my right), but my story started a little rough. In my first year, I was out on my own in Texas, then bounced between homes that weren’t quite the right fit for my level of, shall we say…enthusiasm. Eventually, I landed with my forever people, who may not have known what they were getting into, but gave me something I’d never had before: safety, patience, and a whole lot of love. Turns out, that’s all I needed to become the best Best Boy, as mom says.

These days, I specialize in expert level snack acquisition. If you’ve ever held food between your “pinchy fingers,” you know my work. I don’t beg. I connect. With soft eyes. Deep focus. And just a hint of hope for bread, pasta, fruit, veggies, anything and everything . Once it’s in the pinch fingers…well, we both know how that ends.

I also take my role as a human wellness coach very seriously. My humans sometimes get stuck staring and talking to glowing rectangles for hours on end. Very odd behavior. I intervene and escort them into the forest where they remember they have legs, lungs, and a dog who needs to sniff everything. It’s a tough job but somebody’s gotta help these humans out!
