My "Lager" Than Life “Tail”

Howdy! I’m Rusty (but my VIPs affectionately call me Rust, Russell, or RustyRoo). I’m a Carolina transplant who ditched the Southern humidity for crisp Green Mountain vibes via a long road-trip on a big yellow school bus. I was originally booked for just a weekend stay at Mom’s, but after unleashing my exceptional cuteness, she realized I wasn’t merely a guest – I was moving in for good.

My first few weeks were a little “ruff”. New-house jitters and a showdown with pneumonia landed me at the emergency vet where they sent me home with a healing brew to get me back up on my paws. 10/10 do not recommend the flavor profile, but 12/10 recommend the results. I soon became back to peak “pup-formance”.

These days, I’m the CEO of Snack Acquisition. My patented puppy-dog eyes and endless head tilts make it a high-paying career. When I’m off the clock, I’m an avid woodsman; though an expedition last fall involved chasing a mega deer and gave Mom a big scare. She called it a “moose” and gave me a safety lecture afterwards. Whatever—I’m an equal opportunity chaser; if it’s furry, I’m in!

I may not always be the most “pawfectly” behaved pup, but I’m living my absolute best life, have lots of love to give, and I’m stoked at the prospect of being your NCAL and Rock Art Rescue Brew ambassador! Grab a pint and raise a glass (or paw) to rescue pups everywhere and all the amazing humans who work so hard to find us “fur-ever” homes.
