Tell us why your pet is the best ambassador for the North Country Animal League's Rescue Brew Beer (from your pet’s perspective)
I guess you could say life started out “ruff’ as I was found abandoned near a diner outside Austin, Texas. I thought I found a forever home when I traveled to Washington D.C., but unfortunately my new owner fell ill. I could not stay, so I headed back to Texas. After a few months with a foster, some lady and her husband in Vermont said that their best beagle of 15 years passed away. They worried about his doggie brother as he had become very lonely and sad. With that, I was on my way north to see what this Vermont place was all about. I was very nervous, but Hank proved to be a great big brother! We jump and play, tug on toys together, and enjoy snuggles and naps. My new mom and dad say that I brought Hank back. Life certainly has changed for this little pit-topotamus. I love to go swimming in rivers, chase butterflies, watch episodes of Bob Ross, and I am completely fascinated when my dad flies his drone. Once a week I get to go to “camp” at North Branch Kennels, where I have made lots of new friends and get to embrace some of my border collie side with agility obstacles. Then last year, I became a big sister when a new puppy joined the family.
