Yogi came to us from NCWR in 2008. He and his brother had been purchased by a want-to-be hunter at age 8 weeks. For the first 9 mos. of their lives, they were crated more than not as the owner was rarely home. The pups got on the owner's nerves with barking, chewing, and hyper activity due to their neglect. The owner surrendered one pup to NCWR at age 8 mos. but he kept Yogi (he called him "Beast"). Finally, NCWR was called to pick up "the other one". We intended on fostering but the moment we met Yogi we knew he was ours. Though he passed in November, 2015 he is still with us everyday in our hearts and in our memories. Yogi was special and we are grateful to NCWR for letting us keep him!
