This is Rufus (formerly Solo). Adopted in 2012, this pic was taken after he escaped from backyard. Right on his heels, we chased him for a couple of miles through alleys then dodging cars and running red lights until he was finally tired and ready to come home. He loved hiking, the beach, riding in cars and his family. Disliked baths and the doorbell ringing. Fought 2 battles with cancer, so brave to the end. Gone too soon 8/2008-9/2012. Fun fact: Rufus is in the photo selected for the cover of the Weim Gala 2013 pamphlet.
