Ryder ((full name: Ryder Gray Barkley Bowen, Ph.D. (Pretty happy Dog)) was adopted on November 4th, 2018 through a NorCal Weim Rescue partnership with Animals Rule Rescue in San Pedro. He's a certified beach bro, and though he's a SoCal native, he loves Reno/Tahoe life and hanging out on the Tahoe beaches. So much so that on our last visit, he protested that we were leaving and ran back to try and hold our beach spot. He loves his home life, and his extremely loving and wise weimy sister, Willow, now 12, who was adopted in 2010 when she was just 1.5, through Wonder Weims Rescue in the midwest. A perfect gentleman and a scholar, Ryder once surprised me with an entire bundle of bananas he brought upstairs to bed, and during his early days, shredded a few books while earning his Ph.D.
