Your Pet's Story
I had a Golden Retriever as a child who was, unquestionably, one of the highlights of my early years. I had been wanting to adopt a Golden Retriever for my daughter (and me), but we needed to wait until after our grouchy but beloved cat Maui passed away. Not long after Maui crossed the rainbow bridge, Rosie joined No Dogs Left Behind. She looks just like the dog I had growing up, and her original name was June's Maui. It was as if our angel Maui cat had orchestrated Rosie entering our lives. We officially adopted her, and renamed her Rosie, in October 2024. We've been working to help her overcome some anxiety and improve her confidence, but she is making great strides. She is sweetest, most incredible dog I have ever known. We love her immensely!
