Sunny was adopted out as a puppy but returned to the breeder a year later as a skinny little girl who had been through a lot of changes in her adoptive home. I had just lost one of my hounds and the breeder offered her to me - we drove from GA to KY to get her the next day. She was only 34 pounds and very skittish. She wouldn't eat hardly anything and it took a long time and a lot of patience to get her excited about food the way a basset hound should be. Almost 4 years later she is still a little girl but is a healthy 46 pounds and rules the house and her daddy. That's his new chair she's breaking in for him!
