"Hardy wants to be your buddy." That was on his profile on the NEBHR site. Hardy became a member of our family 11 years ago and fit right in with our other Basset, Peanut. A few years ago, due to retinal atrophy, Hardy lost his vision completely. Thank goodness for that nose! If you didn't know he was blind, he could fool you completely. Hardy loves his walks even though his back and hips bother him. Peanut left us much too early last year and now we have just our Great White Beast as we like to call him. He is SPOILED. Scrambled eggs mixed with yummy wet food and of course, steak on occasion. Vote for our Beast, aka Hardis Bardis,Hardy Moose. He had a rough start in life but now, enjoys the slow life in his forever home.
