Although we're not show dog people, we adopted Carly (Carly's All I Want Is You) from a professional breeder, Nancy Tuck of Vision Bassets in East Taunton, MA. Seven years later we adopted Dior (Ch Topsfield-Sanchu Dior O'Cloverhill) from Judy Tuck of Cloverhill Bassets in Bowdoinham, ME.
Carly came from a show environment, but we were thrilled when she was deemed ready for a home. She came home with us when she was seven months old. She is "The Queen" of our home.
Dior has a long and successful show history and her pups carry on the family legacy. Dior retired and came home with us last year after our beloved basset hound, Columbo, passed away (a distant cousin of Dior's).
