Welcome to the Needy Paws Animal Shelter’s Second Annual photo contest! We are excited to announce that the winners of this contest will be featured in our upcoming 2023 calendar!
Any and all pets are encouraged to enter the contest and be a hero for the Needy Paws Animal Shelter. The top 12 heroes will win a spot in the calendar! The pet with the most votes will be featured on the cover of the calendar and the month of their choosing. The next top 11 will be one of the featured photos of the remaining months!

*Participation Guidelines
All pets are welcome to enter the contest to win a spot on our upcoming calendar! In order to enter your pet, you must include:
- Your Pet’s Name
- Your Pet’s Age
- Your First and Last Name
- Your City and State
- Your Contact Information
- A short bio (up to 125 words) showcasing your pet and their unique qualities that would help them "Fetch-a-Date".
All contestants must submit their photo through the GoGo Photo Contest website. We cannot accept applications or photos in person.
The start date will be 12:00:00 AM (Central Time) on Monday, October 10, 2022 and will end at 11:59:59 PM (Central Time) on Sunday, November 13, 2022. Winners will be announced on our Facebook page on November 13.
The entry fee will be $10 and the top 12 Needy Paws photo contest winners will receive a FREE 2023 calendar!
Multiple pets can be entered and must be posted separately.
Each $1 donation will count as one vote for the selected contestant. Donors must donate a minimum of $5 (or 5 votes). A large amount of votes can be stored in the donor’s “vote bank”, which can be distributed at a later time and to multiple contestants before the contest ends.
Needy Paws Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Tax information can be sent to you if requested.
*Eligible Photographs
- Acceptable picture formats are .jpg, .png, and .gif.
- Pictures should feature only the pet being entered in the contest.
- The pet featured may not be edited or altered, other than minor color, contrast, and sharpness adjustments.
- Pictures must not be copyrighted.
- Any image content must be appropriate. Any that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene will not be permitted into the contest.
- No professional photographs.
- No stock photos.
*Public Voting
Winners will be determined by the number of votes received per contestant. Once a photo is submitted, it will appear in the online gallery and will be open to voting by the general public. Voting will end at 11:59:59 PM (Central Time) on Sunday, November 13, 2022.
