Adoption or foster story.
Just look at me now! In case you've forgotten who I am, I'm Fern! Fern came to the rescue as a kitten with unimaginable horrific injuries to her face & head that were quite difficult to view. The extent of her injuries rendered her sweet face almost unrecognizable as a kitten. She was given very little hope of survival. Around the clock specialized care was provided by NKR. Over the next several days her future appeared bleak as dozens of NKR followers-volunteers-fosters & hopeful adopters checked in frequently for updates on NKRs FB page. Fern's fight for survival never waivered; she ate & purred as if she had not a care in the world. If she pulled out of this would she continue to have seizures? Would she ever look normal? Shockingly she began to improve daily & within weeks of her initial grim prognosis, one very lucky person was selected to become her Mama. What a joy & blessing this beautiful little lady is!
