Adoption or foster story.
We adopted Essie during the pandemic after deciding our cat, Lew, needed a buddy to play with. She was very shy at first, but now is sweet, loving, and a part of the family. Essie is polydactyl, so she looks like she is wearing furry baseball gloves. She likes to pounce on Lew, sleep with a stuffed cactus, have her belly rubbed, and play with her kibbles on the kitchen floor.
