Phoebe was crowned an unlikely princess of the household in January 2014, weighing in at 37 pounds. She was scared, with a thin coat, and she limped due to her broken leg. The members of her royal court decided this dog would never shed fur.

Today, she weighs 53 pounds, has a lustrous coat that drops tumbleweeds in every room, and never meets a human being that she doesn't love. She has to be gradually introduced to other dogs to make friends with them, but she's working on that. No matter which piece of furniture in her home you choose for a seat, you can be assured that she has tested it for you and it has met her approval.
