Merlin came into our lives after our first two goldens passed. He stole our hearts the moment we saw him. He didn’t seem to have much experience with the world then, but he approached all new experiences with joyful anticipation. We taught him to swim, and he came to live for it. He brought us so much love and happiness we wanted to introduce him to many more things, but lost him too soon. He was diagnosed with lymphoma and, while his prospects for longevity with chemo were excellent, passed suddenly from an unrelated heart event on March 26, 2019. His time with us was too short, but his memory will always be a blessing. He was deeply loved. With the highest praise a dog can earn we can say that, in all ways, he was a very good boy.
