My husband and I lost our Golden retriever of 13 years. We had no intentions of getting another dog as our broken hearts were still raw with pain. Though coming home to an empty house was unbearable. A friend suggested we foster and open our home. We love Goldens so the NRGRR seemed to be an ideal fit. I went to the volunteer meeting on Sunday night, I picked up Thor13 Monday night. I took pictures, videos and notes to write his attributes for the website. I wanted people to see how perfect this little guy is. I wanted to help find his forever home where he would be loved and spoiled every day. In May 2018, Leo found both and the heavy cloud of sadness started to lift from our home.
