A little about me...
Chaplin came into our home in December of 2009. We already had two cats then, but we decided to adopt her. Chappy is a bit of a weirdo, but we adore her. She loves sleeping on her back but hates to have her tummy rubbed. We really have to watch her because she will eat all sorts of things she shouldn't: cat hair (her own and everybody else's), string, comforter stuffing, etc. She thinks she is starving if the middle of her bowl is empty even if the sides still have food. She doesn't like to be held or cuddled but loves to be pet and scratched and always licks herself when she is being scratched. She is extremely skittish and growls like an attack dog when people ring the doorbell. Taking her to the vet is like trying to contain a demon. Even though she has a huge bed all of her own, she is more likely to be found sleeping underneath it than on it. We call her our "special cat," but we wouldn't trade her for anything.
