A little about me...
Ricky’s owner were in the process of surrendering him. The husband got a job offer & family were relocating to California . They had 2 dogs & couldn’t find a rental that would allow 2 dogs. They figured the poodle/Bischon mix would stand a better chance of getting adopted because the other dog had medical issues & required daily meds. Ricky came to us just as we were mourning the lost of my brother, Ricky from Parkinson’s Disease. The owner’s 1st name was the same as mine, Monica. She has had Ricky st he was a pup. Monica had already named him Ricky. He has salt & pepper curls @ big brown eyes, just like my brother had. When my mom flew in from Michigan for my daughter’s Highschool graduation (2017) she cried & fell in love when she met my Ricky because his calm personality, beautiful curls & big brown eyes reminded her so much of deceased brother. I know that he was meant to be with my family because; 1) He already was named Ricky; 2) His owner & I shared the same 1st nam, Monica; 3) He reminded me of my little brother, Ricky, with the silver/black curls; 4) He posses an incredible chill demeanor as did my brother; 5) I left out that the owner had a last name similar as mine. My last name is FREDERICK. Her maiden last name was Fredrich, which is the German spelling of my last name.
