A little about me...
Jake only weighed 12 pounds when he was found and had been abandoned, left near a dumpster in Las Vegas no food or water. Since that time, Jakey has become a regal, calm, sweet and loving beagle who even graduated dog school. We learned he was very easy to train as he was quite smart. His only issue was that he loves food more than normal which we think might be related to being abandoned without food and water.
Our vet said that he was going to be a big boy, taller than most as you could tell by his very large paws and long legs. She was right!!! He is a loved and respected member of our family and is certainly well fed and cared for. He has 2 other furry family members as buddies. We believe that our animals rescue us...they kept us company and gave us peace, understanding, happiness and love to get through the Covid years.
We hope and pray that other families who rescue, and bring pets into their home, learn to give these special animals love, attention, protection and take care of their medical needs. We believe that there is nothing else like this type of unconditional love and friendship at its finest! Special prayers go out to NSPCA who take care of helping animals and finding suitable homes.
