A little about me...
Meet Shelby, our resilient and loving rescue dog who has completely transformed our lives. Shelby was rescued from the streets of Pasadena, CA shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic began. When we first heard about her, we were told she was aggressive and unadoptable—only available for fostering. But the moment she stepped into our home, everything changed.

Within just one hour of fostering her, Shelby revealed her true nature: calm, affectionate, and eager to be loved. It didn’t take long for us to realize she wasn’t just a foster—she was family. The very next day, we officially adopted her, and she’s been a cherished member of our household ever since.

Now thriving in her forever home in Las Vegas, Shelby has fully embraced the good life. She’s especially fond of summer pool days, gracefully paddling around with joy, and when the weather cools, she loves long walks and hiking adventures through the desert trails. Her energy, loyalty, and gentle spirit constantly remind us of the power of second chances.

Shelby’s journey from the streets to a loving home is a testament to the importance of looking beyond labels and giving misunderstood animals the opportunity to shine. What was once mistaken for aggression was simply fear—and all she needed was a little kindness to show the beautiful soul inside. Shelby is not just our dog—she's our inspiration.
