Fiona was scheduled to be put down in the shelter she was in. We had just lost our NEBHR basset and looking to find a new one to rescue. She was perfect. Carla drove 6 hours each way to rescue her and here we are 12 years later. She was 18 months when we found her so she is about 14 years old now.
