Pet's Story
Lucy was a street dog in St. Lucia. She found her way to our hotel room when we were there to get married. She was sick and skinny and sweet. We had talked about adopting a dog after we got married and then Lucy just found us. I think she came to our room to die and knew we would help her. It took some work to bring her home, but we did and we got her healthy. She had heartworm, some unidentified tick fever, and then got Ehrlichia too. But she beat all of it!. She lived with us for the last 12 years and was the best dog ever! Unfortunately Lucy went to sleep for the last time on August 22. We know she is romping at the rainbow bridge with our other pets who have gone on ahead but we miss her terribly. Rest in Peace sweet girl. We love you and miss you.
