Pet's Story
My husband and I adopted Hazel 2 1/2 years ago. She was going to be a gift for my mom. Unfortunately, my mom took suddenly ill and as a result, both her and my dad moved in with us. Mom passed shortly after she moved in, my dad (now 99) remained with us. Hazel formed a special bond with my dad. We can't imagine our home without her. She is the most loving and silly creature. She protects and sits by my dad daily. If he calls out to us in his meek voice, Hazel becomes his voice, kinda like Lassie. She brings extreme joy to our family and friends. She is truly one of a kind.
