Pet's Story
Motley was adopted during the pandemic 2021 from Danbury Animal Welfare. He was found roaming the streets in West Virginia in January at 4-5 months old. He was brought to a foster family in Fairfield for a week and then up to Danbury DAWS where he was adopted by the Hillmann Family. Motley is a border collie/lab mix and about 2 years old. When we first got him he was very timid but with care from our 2 kids, he soon began to settle. He loves playing fetch, dribbling a soccer ball, and trying to chase squirrels. He is very gentle and loves snuggles with the kids. Motley helped our family work together and build responsibility with taking care of a pet. Motley helped our kids during the pandemic and we helped Motley have a home! We are forever grateful for the people at DAWS.
