Montgomery is 13 and in the last two years has been through three life threatening surgeries and made it through each one. His most recent surgery resulted in a diagnosis of cancer. Despite this seemingly bad news, he is fiercely determined to live life exactly as he sees fit. This includes lots of walks, yelling at the morning doves for interrupting naps, foot stomps for food, creating a dragon hoard of all his stuffies, snuggles after a fresh haircut, perfecting the art of the beg, completing any puzzle put in front of him within seconds, and most of all being the best grumpy boy that ever grumped.
