My dog is the coolest because...
My name is Sport. I am an inspiration to my family, friends, and those who have met me in Oshkosh. At 13, I have overcome ACL surgery, a splenectomy, and countless lymphoma diagnoses. Currently, I am carrying a 15 pound non-cancerous lymphoma on my hindquarter. It looks a little funny when I walk, but I refuse to let my limitations stop me. I model the power of perseverance for everyone I meet. My grit and love for my family keeps me going. My name of SPORT is fitting considering the countless athletic activities I have been a part of, and the fact that I’m a ‘good sport’ in spite of the physical challenges I face. Daily I represent my canine friends and humans with kindness and resiliency. If chosen Top Dog, every beverage can with my name would send a powerful message about the need for resiliency and hope in America.
