My dog is the coolest because...
Maizie was a 2 year old surrender dog that was ill upon her arrival to the humane society. We first saw her profile when we missed out on a chance to meet a boxer mix rescue the week before. On Saturday morning, October 24, 2020 my son and I drove 3 hours across the state to meet Maizie, while my husband was hospitalized. We had the trip planned before he went into the hospital. My husband was stable and insisted we make the trip to go meet her. We knew in an instant that she was meant to be part of our family. Maizie has brought so much joy to our lives. She comforted my husband when he got home from the hospital and he still calls her his therapy dog. She’s energetic and goofy, talkative, smart and loving. She makes our family complete!
