Pet's Story
Having been found abandoned down in Florida, Red spent at least 5 months in a shelter before coming to Connecticut where he spent another 6 months in the shelter and with fosters. We kept seeing posts about Red on the NFSAW facebook page, but it wasn’t a time our family could adopt a new dog. I’d been following Red on social media for months. Then the UltiMutt program began and over several weeks members of our family kept seeing Red out on his adventures and we all felt connected to him. We decided to take him out on our own adventure and learned what a great dog he was. On his second adventure with us we decided he would be a perfect fit for our family and adopted him. Red is so good, loves his people, loves to snuggle, loves to steal butter, loves to do his zoomies, and has quickly taken over not only our hearts but our couch too (while snoring so loudly!)
