My likes, quirks, & curiosities...Hattie loves her pal Doxie, peppermints, apples, and carrots, but, most of all, she loves having her bum scratched every morning after breakfast!
A little about me...Hattie (the darker of the two rescued horses pictured) was badly neglected before being saved by the NHSPCA. Good fortune did not initially come her way as she was adopted and returned several times. Thanks to the diligent efforts of the organization, especially farm program coordinator Carrie Fyfe, she always had a safe place to land. After fostering Hattie twice for a total of a year, I was finally able to adopt her in the spring of 2019. Now I simply cannot imagine my barn without her in it! We have ventured for miles together along roadways, beaches and forests. She is truly becoming an incredible riding partner.
