likes zoomies in the backyard, getting attention from ALL the humans, hates thunder and for the 6 months had no idea a cat also lived in my house

A little about me...
I’m a 10 yr old Plott Hound that was rescued 6 years ago from a shelter in MA just a couple weeks after being shipped up from North Carolina (where Plott Hound is the official state dog so go figure). I was 4 years old and worried because everyone seemed to really like puppies or small breeds but little did I know my future mom and dad were coming in especially to meet me after seeing me online! The shelter called me “Dobro” but my mom loves Harry Potter so after seeing my big hound ears, a slight adjustment was made and I’ve been Dobby ever since. I had never lived inside before so at first things were a little awkward like sitting up on the couch, seeing things on tv and whatever noise the refrigerator made I did not like. Now I am a pro at all things home-living and it’s rare that I’m not snuggled up on the couch or bed, these days more than most after finding out last summer I have something called a “cancer” in my nose and it’s not something the doctor can fix. My mom and dad have dedicated the past year to a the little things that have made my quality of life surpass the scary 1-3 month timeline they were first given. I know they trust me to let them know when I’m starting to feel like it’s time to rest but until that time comes I know they’ll keep making every day my best day!
