My likes, quirks, & curiosities...
Sammie loves to swim fetch! Sammie notices everything -- he knows the directions to Lee's Pond and gets super excited as we get closer and closer.

A little about me...
Sammie is a Goldendoodle - often though people think he is a golden retriever or a yellow lab - especially in the summer when his hair is shorter. He is good natured and can't wait for the UPS guy to deliver a package and a cookie for Sammie. Though he has to bark at him all the way down the driveway and to the front door! Sammie loves sitting at the top step of our deck and surveying his yard. In the morning he loves to exercise the squirrels as they forage our deck for birdseeds left behind from the night before. Sammie loves to go for long walks with his Daddy. He goes on walks with his Mommie on the back trails in the off season. He goes off leash and is very obedient. But he especially loves watching his Mommie make dinner for him. It is amazing how he can tell time - daylight savings time or not! He knows when it is dinner time. He loves routines - of which he has many. We often wonder if he has us trained or is it the other way around? No matter -- our lives are greatly enriched with Sammie. We bought a van this last year and he has gone with us to visit our kids in TX and TN. And for the month of March, he went with us to Florida. If we can't take him with us we generally don't go! He is a lucky dog indeed! And so are we!
