Pet's Story or Bio
I have been adopted from the SPCA in August 2017, very close to my 3rd Birthday.
Unfortunately like many Bernese Mountain Dogs I have Sarcoma Cancer and my jounrey will come to an end very, very soon.
My Family adopted three weeks after moving from Germany to the US.
My dad needed to work all day, but my mum was stranded at home, not knowing anybody, hardly speaking the language and having no Drivers License at the time. Missing her Family and not being able to go anywhere she got depressed. So they came to the shelter on a Sunday. I have been surrendered just the day prior.
My dad always tells me that it was a match made in heaven because we were two lonely Souls in desperate Need of a friend that needed each other in order to heal. I also found my mom other great friends like Tina Kennedy for example who works at the SPCA.
My dad told me that getting a dog and looking ahead you think you will have plenty of time with each other. But looking back now it feels like these years flew by within the blink of an eye.
So Dad wants to encourage all dog owners to appreciate/celebrate every moment you have together, because one day your joint journey will come to end and and you will depserately miss each and everyone of these moments.
He told me I will always be in their hearts!
