My NICU Graduate's Journey
Gabriel originally got to NICU because he was not breathing correctly. He showed great progress and within a week he was breathing room air! His biggest struggle while in the NICU was gaining weight and feeding by mouth. His weight dropped down to 5lbs and it took him almost his whole stay to get back to his birth weight. He struggled so much to learn how to bottle feed and being able to breastfeed seemed like it was never going to be possible, but once he got the hang of bottle feeding we saw great progress fast and were able to go home within a couple days!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
We went from bottle feeding being our biggest struggle to now being a master at breastfeeding! Which back in our NICU days seemed like it was something we were never going to be able to do.
