My NICU Graduate's Journey
Khyrie was born at 22 weeks and 6 days weighing 1lb 1oz, he stayed in NICU for 5.5 months. He was born with a PDA that closed on its own, he spent his whole stay on oxygen support up until a couple of days before he was discharged. He had no major complications, he did have a G Tube that he only used for less than a week after being discharged. Khyrie is now 16 months and thriving. With help from therapists he’s graduated speech, occupational and physical. He’s a busy toddler who loves to laugh and play. He’s brought so much joy to the family! We are thankful for the NICU staff for doing an outstanding job taking care of our little one.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
We are proud at how strong he is, he defeated so many odds. We love how he’s ahead on his milestones.
