My NICU Graduate's Journey
My daughter was born at 24 weeks and 5 days. She battled through 232 difficult days in the NICU. She was intubated for 2 months, had NEC, multiple surgeries, a colostomy, and then eventually that was reversed and she had a g-tube. She battled infections, but overcame every obstacle to come home to us.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
She is amazing and inspiring. The doctors told us to consider comfort measures, but we knew our girl was a fighter. She will be 5 in August and other than being petite, you would never know she was a micro preemie
